Resetting Your Password
If you've forgotten your password for the Bourne AI console, follow these steps to reset it.
Steps to Reset Your Password
- Navigate to the Login Page: Go to the Bourne AI console login page.
- Click "Forgot Password?": Below the "Sign In" button, click the "Forgot Password?" link.
- Enter Your Email: You will be taken to a password reset page. Enter the email address associated with your account in the provided field.
- Click "Send Code": Press the "Send Code" button. A verification code will be sent to your registered email address.
- Check Your Email: Open your email inbox and look for an email from Bourne containing the verification code. If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder.
- Enter Verification Code: Return to the password reset page in your browser. Enter the verification code you received in the "Verification Code" field.
- Enter New Password: In the "New Password" field, type your desired new password. Make sure it meets the required criteria (length, character types - these are usually displayed on the screen).
- Confirm New Password: Re-type your new password in the "Confirm New Password" field to ensure it matches.
- Click "Reset Password": Press the "Reset Password" or "Submit" button.
Successful Reset
If the code is correct and the new passwords match and meet the criteria, your password will be successfully reset. You should see a confirmation message and can now log in using your email address and the new password.
Troubleshooting
- Didn't Receive Code: If you don't receive the verification code within a few minutes, check your spam/junk folder. You can also try clicking a "Resend Code" button if available, or double-check that you entered the correct email address.
- Invalid Code: Ensure you are entering the most recent code received and that it hasn't expired (codes are usually valid for a limited time).
- Password Doesn't Meet Criteria: Pay close attention to the password requirements displayed on the screen (e.g., minimum length, uppercase, lowercase, number, special character).
