Bourne AI console Overview

Welcome to the Bourne AI console! This platform empowers you to build, configure, and deploy sophisticated AI agent teams (also known as Agent Workflows) to automate complex tasks.

Why Use Agent Workflows?

Instead of relying on a single AI model, Agent Workflows allow you to create specialized teams where multiple AI agents collaborate. Each agent can have a specific role, set of instructions, and access to different tools or knowledge.

This collaborative approach offers several advantages:

  • Specialization: Create agents focused on specific sub-tasks (e.g., research, writing, data analysis, customer interaction).
  • Improved Accuracy: By breaking down complex tasks, workflows can lead to more focused and accurate results.
  • Complex Task Automation: Tackle multi-step processes that would be difficult for a single AI model to handle reliably.
  • Modularity: Easily add, remove, or modify individual agents without rebuilding the entire system.
  • Integration: Connect agents to external tools, APIs, and private knowledge bases.

Key Components of the Bourne AI console

Here's a brief overview of the main sections you'll interact with:

  1. Dashboard:

    • Your central landing page after logging in.
    • Provides quick access tiles to different modules and features based on your account plan and permissions.
    • Navigate to Agent Workflows, Settings, and other areas from here.
  2. Agent Workflows (Agents Section):

    • List View: View, search, sort, and manage all your created agent workflows.
    • Workflow Editor: The core area where you build and configure your agent teams. This includes:
      • Defining workflow modes (Sequential, Supervisor).
      • Adding/Editing individual agents (setting roles, instructions, LLMs).
      • Assigning tools (Web Search, Document Search, API Call, etc.).
      • Connecting agents to knowledge bases.
    • Interaction Interface: Test and run your configured workflows by providing tasks or prompts and observing the agents' execution steps and final output.
  3. Knowledge Base (via Media Manager):

    • Upload and manage documents (PDFs, DOCX, TXT, etc.) that agents can search when equipped with the "Search Documents" tool.
    • Accessed within the Agent Workflow editor when configuring an agent.
  4. Tools & Integrations:

    • 32 Available Tools across five categories: Social Media (20), Content Creation (3), Search & Research (7), Business Integration (1), and Automation (1)
    • Connect agents to external services like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Google Docs, and more
    • Equip agents with capabilities like web search, image generation, browser automation
    • See the Tools & Integrations Reference for complete documentation
  5. Prompt Library:

    • Create reusable prompt templates for consistent output formatting, brand voice, and quality standards
    • Attach prompts to agents or individual messages
    • Organize prompts by category (Output, Tone, Style, Format, Analysis, etc.)
    • See Using the Prompt Library for details
  6. Scheduling & Automation:

    • Schedule workflows to run automatically at specific times and days
    • Set up recurring tasks like daily reports, social media posts, or monitoring
    • Configure timezone and execution parameters
    • See Scheduling Agent Workflows for setup instructions
  7. Settings:

    • Profile: View your user information (name, company) and set your preferred display language for the console.
    • API Credentials: Securely store and manage OAuth2 and API key credentials for tools. Supports 14+ services including Gmail, Outlook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Docs, Canva, Zoom, and more. See Managing API Credentials for setup guides.
