Deploying Pre-Built Agent Teams

This guide explains how to discover, explore, and add pre-built agent teams and collections to your account through the Bourne AI console's browse functionality.

Browsing Available Agent Teams

The browse page provides access to a curated library of public agent teams and collections that you can add to your account.

  1. Navigate to the Browse Page: Go to the "Agent" section, then click on "Browse" in the navigation menu.
  2. Explore the Grid: The page displays a grid of available agent teams and collections, each represented by a card showing its title and description.
  3. Search and Filter: Use the search box at the top of the page to find specific agent teams by name or description.
  4. Refresh the List: Click the refresh button to update the list with the latest available agent teams and collections.

Understanding the Difference Between Agent Teams and Collections

When browsing, you'll see two types of items:

  • Agent Teams: These are pre-configured workflows containing one or more agents designed to accomplish specific tasks.
  • Collections: These are curated groups of related agent teams, organized around themes, industries, or use cases.

You can identify collections by their blue badge, while agent teams have a green badge.

Viewing Agent Team Details

To learn more about an agent team before adding it to your account:

  1. Click the "View" Button: On any agent team card, click the "View" button or the card body itself.

  2. Explore Detailed Information: The detail page shows:

    • A comprehensive description of the agent team's purpose and capabilities
    • Highlights and key features
    • Information about the individual agents in the team and their roles
    • The tools each agent can use (such as web search, document search, or API calls)
    • Industry badges indicating the agent team's recommended use cases
  3. Navigate Back: Use the "Back" button to return to the browse list when finished.

Adding an Agent Team to Your Account

Once you've found an agent team you want to use:

  1. Click the "Add" Button: You'll find this on either the agent card in the browse list or on the agent team's detail page.
  2. Wait for Confirmation: The system will copy the agent team to your account. A spinning indicator shows the process is in progress.
  3. Access Your Copy: After successful addition, the agent will be available in your personal agent list (accessible from the "Agent" main page).
  4. Customize as Needed: After copying to your account, you can edit and customize the agent team to fit your specific requirements. You can modify instructions, change tools, add/remove agents, or adjust any other settings as needed.
  5. Note on Already Added Agents: If you've already added an agent team, you'll see a checkmark indicator instead of the "Add" button.

Working with Collections

Collections help organize related agent teams into logical groups.

  1. Identify Collections: Look for items with a blue "Collection" badge in the browse list.

  2. View Collection Details: Click the "View" button on a collection card to see:

    • An overview of the collection's purpose
    • Highlights and key features of the collection
    • A list of all agent teams included in the collection
  3. Browse Teams Within a Collection: On the collection detail page, you'll see all the agent teams that belong to the collection.

  4. Add Teams from Collections: You can add individual agent teams directly from the collection detail page by clicking the "Add" button on each agent team card.

Example Use Cases

  • Research and Writing: Add a pre-built research team that combines a researcher agent and a writer agent to quickly generate content from web sources.
  • Customer Service: Use a collection of customer service agent teams, each specialized for different products or service tiers.
  • Industry Solutions: Browse collections focused on specific industries like healthcare, finance, or education to find agent teams tailored to your sector.

By using these pre-built agent teams and collections, you can quickly implement sophisticated workflow solutions without having to build them from scratch.
